Press Release on 15th December 2021Commissioner, JMC conducts the tour of Ward No. 38.
The Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Ms. Avny Lavasa (IAS) conducted the tour of Ward No. 38 accompanied by the concerned Officers of JMC alongwith concerned Councillor, Sh. Surinder Sharma during the tour, the Commissioner visited areas where the nallah flowing from Basant Nagar to Paloura requires renovation and lanes of Pamposh Colony Janipur at sectors 2, 3 & 4 require black topping. The Commissioner, JMC directed the Executive Engineer concerned for preparing the estimates for the same so that the issues can be resolved at the earliest which will help to mitigate the problems of the residents of the ward.
The residents of the ward appreciated the Commissioner, JMC for conducting tour of their ward and also to listen their grievances patiently and residents assured that they shall provide full cooperation to Jammu Municipal Corporation for better well being of the ward.
The Commissioner, JMC further appealed to all residents of the city to come forward and join hands with Jammu Municipal Corporation so that we can jointly work for making our city no. 1 in respect of sanitation scenario and also avoid using of polythene carry bags and throwing of C&D waste into nallahs which is a major cause of choking of nallahs resulting into sufferings for the residents.
