A rally on Swacch Bharat Abhiyan was organized by Govt. High School, Pull Tawi in collaboration with Jammu Municipal Corporation wherein students, school staff and Officers/staff of JMC participated in the rally. Sh. R.S. Jamwal (KAS), Joint Commissioner (A), JMC was chief guest on the occasion who flagged off the rally. The rally was marched from the school premises towards Bikram Chowk, Jammu. A play on Health & Hygiene was also enacted by the Students.
The motive behind organizing the rally was to create awareness among the general masses about the importance of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan so that every citizen can come forward for extending their helping hands in maintaining the surroundings.
While speaking on the occasion Sh. R.S. Jamwal, Joint Commissioner (A), JMC stressed that there is need to aware the children about maintaining proper sanitation and hygiene as they are future of the nation. He added that such kind activities shall be organized so that more and more people can be aware about the importance of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Also present on the occasion were Health Officer, Dr. Anita Salgotra, Committee members Sh. Sunil, Sushil and Sh. Charanjit Singh and head of institution Smt. Sunita Gupta presented vote of thanks to all participants for their presence and cooperation.
