Press Release on 22/04/2017JMC launched anti encroachment drive at Nai Basti
On the directions of Dr. Manmohan Singh, KAS, Municipal Commissioner Transport section of JMC has launched anti encroachment drive at Nai Basti with the help of heavy duty machinery like rock breaker, JCB’s and other machinery of JMC under the supervision of R.S.Jamwal, KAS, Joint Commissioner (Adm), JMC. Accompanied by Chief transport officer Talat Mahmood Khan and Transport officer Balbir Singh The drive was launched to facilitate the desilting of nallahs passing through Nai Basti and Satwari Chowk to Digiana.
During the drive Sh. Kavinader Gupta, Hon’ble Speaker legislative Assembly also visited both the spots and appreciated the steps taken by JMC for giving relief to the people of these areas and on spot instructions were given to Transport wing of JMC that deploy extra men and machinery if required for immediate redressal of the public grievances.
The JMC assures the general public that desilting and removal of slabs on the nallhas will be done within 10 to 15 days for its successful completion and will provide big relief to all the general public on the forth coming monsoon season.
