Press Release on 5th December 2017JMC Continues Demolition Drive
On the directions of Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation Mr. Ramesh Kumar (IAS), and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner Administration Mr. Rajesh Sharma (KAS), along with Enforcement Officer Mr. Kamni Kumar and enforcement Staff while continuing the drive vigoursly against the unauthorized & illegal constructions undertook a drive in different parts of Jammu City.
During the drive the team noticed an ongoing commercial construction at Deeli area which was being raised unathorisdely without the permission of Jammu Municipal Corporation. The illegal construction was demolished on spot by pressing the staff & Labourers into service.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation once again Appeals to the General Public not to undertake the construction without seeking the permission from Jammu Municipal Corporation failing which the same may lead to demolition/sealing of unauthorized construction. Further it is also requested not to dump the building material on road/lane side which causes obstruction to the public and also hindrance in the smooth flow of vehicular traffic.
