Today on 20/06/2019, Jammu Municipal Corporation launched Country’s first ever highly affordable digital security solution for the residents namely Jammu Suraksha Yojana in collaboration with ITI Ltd., a Govt. of India enterprise. The launch ceremony was graced and chaired by Hon’ble Dy. Mayor, JMC, Mrs. Purnima Sharma. Commissioner, JMC, Sh. Pankaj Magotra, SSP (PCR) Jammu, Sh. Kulbir Singh and Hon’ble Councillors and officers of Corporation were present on the occasion which was enthusiastically covered by the print and electronic media.
Hon’ble Dy. Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation informed the Hon’ble Councillors and media persons that Jammu Suraksha Yojana is a joint effort of JMC and ITI Ltd. for providing affordable Home security solution to citizens of Jammu City. Further, Dy. Mayor briefed the gathering that the launch is follow up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Jammu Municipal Corporation and ITI Ltd. signed in December, 2018.
Sh. Jaskaran Singh, Director, REIT, a brand owned by ITI Ltd. briefed the media and the Councillors about the highly advantageous and affordable digital security solution to the residents:
· Jammu Suraksha Yojana provides digital security which covers Personal, Financial & Civil security needs of the subscriber in just Rs.500/- P.M.
· Subscriber needs to pay Rs.500/-P.M. for 20 months plus applicable GST to avail state of the art technology based security cameras. Subscriber needs to pay six month advance as security deposit plus banking and installation charges which shall be adjusted in 14th month to 20th month installment.
· Subscriber will have Artificial Intelligence integrated High Definition Indoor Camera, High Definition Outdoor camera besides a door sensor with alert on mobile phone as part of the package and two set of Electromagnetic waves based wireless Door sensor.
· Life Insurance Cover of Rs.1,00,000/-(In case of any death) to the subscriber.
· SOS Alert-Special Hotline in which citizen gets immediate support in case of crime and urgency.
· Recording time of 10-35 days and safe storage on cloud.
· Online View with dual Audio Interaction
· The system will be internet and mobile based and readily installable.
Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Sh. Pankaj Magotra briefed the Hon’ble Councillors and media persons about the salient features and plan of action for the implementation of the Yojana.He also presented the vote of thanks to the Hon’ble Dy. Mayor, Hon’ble Councillors, SSP (PCR), representatives from ITI Ltd. and media for participation in launch of Jammu Suraksha Yojana and sought cooperation of all in making the yojana highly successful and popular among the citizens of Jammu city.
