Press Release on 18th january 2021JMC SEALES THE UNAUTHORIZED CONSTRUCTION
On the instruction of Ms. Avny Lavasa IAS, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (Adm), the Enforcement Staff led by the Chief Enforcement Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation undertook a drive against the violations and unauthorized construction in the different areas falling under the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corporation and took the following actions:
I. The team sealed the premises of Mohd Rashid at Sunjwan, Jammu for erecting unauthorized construction without the permission of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
II. The team sealed the Tuition Centre of Sh. T.K. Raina at 324/B Sec No: 01, Durga Nagar, Jammu running without the permission of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
The sealing of the unauthorized constructions have been taken under the provisions of Section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation appeals to General Public to refrain from making violations and unauthorized constructions else action as admissible under rule leading to demolition / sealing will be taken.
