Press release on 19th January 2021JMC SEALES UNAUTHORIZED CONSTRUCTIONS
On the instruction of Ms. Avny Lavasa IAS, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (Adm), the Enforcement Staff led by the Chief Enforcement Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation, while further continuing the drive vigorously and acting tough against the violations and unauthorized construction in the different areas falling under the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corporation and sealed the following commercial premises under the provisions of section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988.
I. Sealed the premises of Pirinkle Mahajan S/o Sh. Pawan Kumar at Bye Pass Road, Deeli, Jammu for erecting construction against the approved building plan.
II. Sealed the premises of Nikhal Mittal S/o Sh, Parveen Mittal at Marble Market, Jammu for erecting the unauthorized construction without the permission of jammu municipal Corporation.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation once again appeals to General Public to refrain from making encroachments and unauthorized constructions otherwise action as admissible under rule leading to demolition / sealing will be taken.
