Press Release on 15th March 2021Shop Vacated at Parade by JMC due to non payment of rent.
On the directions of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Ms. Avny Lavasa (IAS), a shop of Jammu Municipal Corporation which was allotted to M/s. Kartar Goods Carrier since long at Parade Market, Jammu has been got vacated by JMC, as the owner of M/s. Kartar Goods Carrier failed to deposit the rent arrears in lacs which was pending for quite long time and possession of the shop has been taken back by the Jammu Municipal Corporation from the allottee.
The Commissioner further appealed to the allottees of Jammu Municipal Corporation (Shops/Quarters) to deposit their monthly rent well in time and refrain from making rent pending, as JMC will continue its drive against defaulters who are not paying monthly rent of their allotted accommodation leading to sealing of their accommodation or JMC shall take back the possession of the same.
