Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”
Jammu Municipal Corporation under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” celebrated ‘Felicitation of Waste Entrepreneurs/ Waste to Art Exhibition’ on 01.10.2021 at Wave Mall, Jammu.
The theme of the event was to organize competitions between Waste Entrepreneurs, small scale vendors and local citizens and hence felicitate the winners of the event based upon their innovations.
Various preparations were made by Jammu Municipal Corporation prior to the day of event including selection of the participants, finalization of venue of the event, finalization of awards (Mementos), setting up of Backdrop, Banners and invitation of chief guests for the felicitation ceremony.
8 Entrepreneurs/ local vendors were shortlisted for the felicitation in the day of the event including Sambhav Eco Alternatives, Regional & Urban Development Agency (RUDA), Disha Foundation, New era Technologies, Beena Kumari, Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA) and were felicitated by Jammu Municipal Corporation for their contribution towards Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM).
The Banners were also displayed and large public gathering was avoided while strictly following the COVID-19 related protocols.
