Notification for election of Chairman of Standing Committee(s) of Jammu Municipal Corporation viz. Public Health Sanitation Committee, Social Justice Committee & Swacch Bharat Committee in terms of Section 40(8) of Jammu Municipal Corporation Act, 2000 read with Section 50 of the Jammu & Kashmir Municipal Corporation (Procedure & Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2005 was issued on 03-01-2022 and the date fixed for submitting of the nomination papers in the office of Secretary, Jammu Municipal Corporation by or before 07-01-2022 from 10.00 A.M to 4.00 P.M.
In light of the notification, one nomination paper for the election of Chairman of Public Health Sanitation Committee, one for Social Justice Committee & one for Swacch Bharat Committee was received. Sh. Raj Kumar, Member of Public Health Sanitation Committee, Sh. Ajay Gupta, Member of Social Justice Committee & Sh. Hardeep Singh(Mankotia), Member of Swacch Bharat Committee filed their nominations for the post of Chairman of these Committee(s).
